When creating a new work within ampsuite, you will typically begin by setting up a Standard Release. This process allows you to simultaneously distribute a Single/EP/Album, while registering the individual works for publishing.
Creating releases is already covered extensively in the help guide, which you can reference
here.
Once you’ve set up a standard release, you will also notice an additional tab under the Main Details section, called ‘Additional Details’.
These fields are designed to help you manage your publishing catalogue more effectively:
-
Type of Rights: Record whether you have both Publishing & Master rights, or a combination of both for the track.
-
Keywords: Add a custom selection of keywords to describe the mood, instruments used, or other specific attributes of the track. This can be useful for pitching or categorising your catalogue.
Note: These fields are for your reference only and won’t impact the release or registration process.
